Motorcity introduces the new Daewoo Trucks range in Bahrain The Action to Advance

Motorcity, the sole distributor of world class passenger and commercial vehicle brands introduced an entirely new brand, Daewoo Trucks to the Bahrain market on December 2nd, 2015 at the Bahrain International Circuit. The new range of Daewoo Trucks includes medium duty and heavy duty trucks with multiple applications available for the local market. The launch event was attended by company officials, key customers and members of the media.


The Korean automobile company, Daewoo Trucks was re-launched in 2004 after TATA Motors, the Indian automobile manufacturer, took 100% stake of the company. Daewoo Trucks provides a unique experience to its customers by listening to their needs and reflecting them in its product development. With this rebirth, the company is now one of the most respected companies in Korea for the commercial vehicle industry.  The new slogan "The Action to Advance" reflects the company's goals of becoming a global player with the best commercial vehicle range in the marketplace.

Daewoo Trucks has overseas production bases to cater for the needs of the global market. Currently with sales spread over 70 countries through over 300 dealers, Daewoo trucks are expanding exports world over. Daewoo trucks have been in the region for the last two decades and were recently launched in Saudi Arabia

During the event, some existing customers of Daewoo Trucks were honoured for their support and loyalty to the brand.

Daewoo Trucks are available in Medium and Heavy duty segment categories. The medium duty and heavy duty chassis range with its rugged construction is available in long wheel base and can be mounted with various applications to suit the application.

Other key feature of the range is the state of the art fuel injection system that squeezes the maximum amount of power out of each fuel drop.  Combined with its abundant cargo hauling capacity, Daewoo trucks present a highly efficient solution to for transporting large cargo loads.

Daewoo trucks are also available with factory build diverse applications like tanks, crane mounted trucks, garbage haulers, jetting units and concrete pump solutions.
