Motorcity Delivers HINO Automatic Transmission to Gulf Agency Company Bahrain
Motorcity, the sole distributor of HINO in the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently launched the highly anticipated automatic transmission trucks in both heavy and light duty variants.
The first Hino 700 Series heavy duty truck with Automatic Transmission was delivered to Gulf Agency Company (GAC) Bahrain, the pioneers in the logistics industry. Mr. Arun Ganesh Kumar, Assistant General Manager and Mr. Amjesh Asokan, Assistant Sales Manager of Motorcity handed over the keys to the 2 units of HINO Automatic Transmission (AMT) 4x2 tractor heads to Mr. Pontus Fredriksson, Managing Director of the Gulf Agency Company Bahrain at their offices in Muharraq.
HINO also took the credit of being the first brand to introduce an automatic transmission truck in the light duty segment within the kingdom. The HINO 300 series truck that has a gross vehicle weight between 4.5 to 8.5 Tonnes and with a variety of options includes a Euro 3 engine, disc brake, ABS, airbag, automatic transmission and rear air conditioner cooling on the Double cabin version. The Hino 700 series is a powerful and reliable truck suitable for various applications such as crane and cargo body configurations, tankers, refuse compactors, dump trucks as well as trailers offering a hauling capacity of 100 Tonnes.
