Motorcity Showcases PEUGEOT Models in Bahrain
Manama, 22 December, 2020: Motorcity, the distributor of world-renowned vehicles in Bahrain, has officially announced the range of PEUGEOT models now available at its new showroom in Motorcity Sitra.
The addition of the high-end generalist automotive brand to Motorcity’s line up forms part of PEUGEOT’s rapid revival in the GCC which saw overall sales increase by 72 per cent in 2019. Customers in Bahrain will now have access to range-topping models, including the PEUGEOT 3008 SUV, the brand’s best-selling model for two consecutive years and the winner of 65 international awards, the all-new PEUGEOT 2008 SUV, PEUGEOT 5008 SUV, PEUGEOT 308 hatchback and PEUGEOT 508 fastback sedan, recently awarded ‘Public Car of the Year’ at the 2020 Middle East Car of the Year Awards (MECOTY).

Adding to the brand’s success in Bahrain will be PEUGEOT’s 508 fastback sedan which will come in three trim levels including, the entry-level “Active” line; the mid-trim “Allure” line; and the all new, top-of-the-range “GT” Line. Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) Partner, Boxer and Expert will also be available at the new home of the brand.
Expected for early 2021, customers will also be treated to a fourth trim, the all-new PEUGEOT 508 GT, a performance-focused variant of the popular fastback sedan, which features an eight-speed EAT8 automatic transmission, and 1.6 litre, PureTech turbo engine with an output of 217 hp.
