The engine option available for Bahrain market is a 2.0 L T5 Petrol engine delivering 213 hp of exhilarating power output. This engine version features functions like start stop feature and braking energy regeneration. The V40 is fitted with an automatic 6 speed gearbox to deliver a seamless and refined driving experience.

The new model features a class leading safety and driver support package, including Volvo Car Corporation's groundbreaking Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake and several other new features, among which are the world first pedestrian airbag, Lane Keeping Aid with haptic auto steering, and an ingenious Park Assist Pilot that facilitates parallel parking. The City Safety low speed collision avoidance system has been further developed and it now operates at speeds up to 50 km/h.
